WELCOME

I work collaboratively with individuals, couples, teens, parents of teens, and families to help you reach your specific goals, so you can live a more satisfying life with successful, happy, and meaningful relationships.

My general focus is working with feelings of stress, anxiety, loss, and life changes/transitions. My specialty is working with addictions, including: sex, love, food, alcohol, drugs, excessive spending, or internet and TV. I have many years of experience working with people struggling with trauma, who feel overwhelmed with stress and anxiety, and have helped them achieve a centered and balanced life.

The foundation of our work will be that of mutual respect and clear expectations. I am client centered and humanistic in my approach. I view the counseling relationship as a collaborative process and believe the role of a therapist can be liken to that of a “coach,” one who challenges old ineffective behaviors and beliefs. I provide a confidential and supportive environment for you to share your concerns, goals, and dreams. Through dialogue and deep listening, new choices and next steps will be brought to light. Our work together will be unique, and your therapy will be a blend of what you and I do together.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington. I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Systems Counseling from The Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University. I have been counseling in the Seattle area since 1999.

All sexual, spiritual, and cultural orientations welcome.
